Directed by James Hill, this 1984 film is a delightful comedy that chronicles the foibles of life and love in historic Victorian England, as seen through the innocent and very perceptive eyes of a young girl. It is based on the best-selling book written by Daisy Ashford when she was only nine years old.
Celebrated Austrian camera man Wolf Suschitzky worked on the film and will be present at the screening.
