We are delighted to collaborate with the DAAD and the Institute of Modern Languages Research (IMLR) for their online prize giving event of the German Language Competition 'Das Wort der Zukunft', which encouraged learners of the German language to combine their linguistic creativity with their hopes and thoughts for the future.

The event will celebrate all the splendid and creative entries and crown the best ideas for new German words.

Friedrich Herrmann, poetry slammer and winner of the 2019 German national poetry championship, will present a creative piece based and developed exclusively on the entries to the competition. In addition, Max Weber, graphic designer and illustrator, will give an insight into the creative process behind the creation of the illustrated dictionary of winning entries.
