Whilst on holiday in Vienna, Kip, an idealistic, upper class war hero is thrown together with Albert, a blunt, working class, survivor of a Japanese POW camp. Sat in the squalid basement of The Sacher Hotel, Vienna. The two secret service agents await the go ahead to execute a communist traitor staying in the hotel above them. They presumed his arrival to be imminent, but as time ticks on, both men realise nothing is what it seems…
