  • 20 Jun 2012 — 23 Jun 2012

Join leading artists, scientists and thinkers at Supersonix, an international symposium exploring the latest theoretical, scientific and artistic ideas, works and experiments
about sound.

A partnership between Exhibition Road Cultural Group and SLSA EU, the three-day conference is aimed at anyone from the arts, curatorial studies, the sciences, humanities and social sciences who is interested in an interdisciplinary approach to the study of sound and sonification. The conference is underpinned by a range of artists’ performances and interdisciplinary panels on collaborations between the arts, sciences, technology and design.

Two Austrian participants at the conference are Sam Auinger who will pesent his work EARSPACEBODYSOUND on 22 June at 2.30 pm at the Goethe Institute and Bernhard Leitner who will take part in a panel discussion on Thursday 21 June at 2.30 pm at the Royal Geographical Society, chaired by Austrian Aram Zarikian.

With an international line-up of keynote speakers and delegates from Australia, Europe and the US already confirmed, Supersonix is a unique opportunity to join a global sonic conversation. If it's an idea that resonates with you, then find out more at and book now.
