The ACF London welcomes two talented young pianists from the Royal College of Music for a special masterclass concert, curated by renowned Austrian musician Stefan Stroissnig.

Cristiana Achim and Jack Campbell will present works by Olga Neuwirth, Julia Purgina as well as pieces by Schubert and Ginastera.

Stefan Stroissnig, who developed the repertoire together with the students during a masterclass, will be guiding you through the evening, giving commentaries and elaborating on the works.

Stefan Stroissnig is a renowned pianist from Austria. His concert activity as a soloist has taken him to all five continents and to the most prestigious concert houses in Europe, such as the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Berlin Philharmonic.

Festival invitations have included the Salzburg Festival, the Carinthian Summer, the International Music Summer in Grafenegg, the Ruhr Piano Festival, the Rheingau Festival and the Mondsee Festival.

After teaching seven years at the the University of Music Graz (Austria) he has been appointed Guest Professor of Piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in 2019.

His contribution to the international musical world earned Stefan Stroissnig a nomination for the Credit Suisse Award from the Vienna Philharmonic.

Cristiana Achim is a winner of numerous international music competitions. She has performed in prestigious UK venues like Queen Elizabeth Hall, St James’s Picadilly, Drapers Hall or St Paul’s Church (Bedford). As a resident artist with the Romanian Royal House, she is often invited to play with the Royal Camerata Orchestra and to give piano recitals at the Romanian Atheneum in Bucharest.

Jack Campbell is a British–Chinese pianist and composer with a passion for performing music that is less well-known. He was a semi-finalist of the George Enescu piano competition 2020/21, where he had the chance to perform in the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest. In BBC Young Musician 2016, he was the Keyboard Category winner and recipient of the Walter Todds Bursary.


Please note: Tickets are limited and need to be booked on our website in advance. You will not be able to attend the event without a pre-booked ticket.
