Austrian organist Stefan Donner is set to return to the UK in 2024 in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Austrian composer Anton Bruckner (1824-1896). Donner's organ tour, starting in February, will showcase selected masterpieces from Bruckner's repertoire, among other works, at various prestigious venues. The tour promises to be a captivating musical journey, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience a broad repertoire featuring the timeless brilliance of Bruckner's compositions and much more.
Additionally, Donner has exciting plans for the UK later in the year, with a series of concerts scheduled for July and the autumn of 2024. An exclusive in-house concert evening in early July at the ACF London will delve into the theme of "Bruckner and his Contemporaries," providing a deeper exploration into the musical landscape of Bruckner's era.
