The ACF and Sound Park Austria present cellist and singer-songwriter Meaghan Burke. Praised for her “alarming tour de-force intensity” (The Examiner) and her “impossibly beautiful but in no way forgiving” song writing (The Deli NYC), Meaghan seeks out the beautiful, the bold, and the bizarre, whatever the musical context. She splits her time living in Vienna and New York and in her music you hear the influence of Brechtian cabaret and contemporary music with a punkier NY energy and folkish sensitivity.
