This exhibition at KARST Projects in Plymouth explores the intersection between the visual arts and the act of writing in the post-digital condition. It is the second in a series of exhibitions and events centred around a larger curatorial and editorial research project with the title „Possible Content for 18 Pages“. In the exhibition the act of writing is analysed as a historic and actual cultural technique which has changed over the past decades by the use of new media and technology. The focus of the exhibition therefore lies within the material aspect of writing itself.
Austrian curator Franz Thalmair has invited numerous artists including Ovidiu Anton, Peter Downsbrough, Heinrich Dunst, Maria Fusco, Egon van Herreweghe, Ane Mette Hol, Birgit Knoechl, Karolis Kosas, Lotte Lyon, John Wood & Paul Harrison to participate.
