After last season’s booked-out concert of pre-Schubert songs, the RAM’s Song Circle returns to the ACF London with Schubert Masterpieces from Volume 7 of the Peter’s Edition. Some of the most gifted singers and accompanists from the RAM will perform celebrated songs such as ‘Nachtviolen’ (Mayrhofer), ‘Seligkeit’ (Hölty), ‘An die Entfernte’, ‘Hoffnung’, ‘Liebhaber in allen Gestalten’, ‘Liebe schwärmt auf allen Wegen’, ‘An den Mond’ (Goethe), as well as lesser-known gems such as ‘Das Mädchen aus der Fremde’ (Schiller), ‘Abschied’ (Mayrhofer), and many more.

The evening will be introduced by Richard Stokes,Visiting Professor of Lieder at the RAM.
