Reducing his chosen material to a maximum level of fragility and malleability, Austrian artist Herbert Golser transposes wood into extraordinary organic sculptures, which appear both completely new yet recognisable from an ancient past. The ACF London, in cooperation with the rosenfeld porcini gallery, is delighted to present a selection of Golser’s work.
Herbert Golser currently lives and works in Klein-Pöchlarn, Lower Austria. He attended the University of Applied Arts in Vienna as well as the Technical School for Wood and Stone Sculpture, Hallein. His work is featured in multiple public spaces in Austria, Hungary and Italy and in Austrian churches. In 2013 Herbert Golser was part of The-Solo-Project in Basel.
