The New Artists Series opens in 2011 with a concert featuring works by Fritz Kreisler, Richard Strauss, Katharina Schirk, Eugène Ysaÿe and Alan Ridout performed by Daniel Auner and Robin Green. Auner studied at the University of Music in Vienna and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. He is the winner of several national and international violin competitions, among them the Johannes Brahms International Competition in 2007, and is part of the Vienna Mozart-Trio. Robin Green graduated from the Royal College of Music in London in 2008, where he studied piano with Andrew Ball. Robin is the founder and musical director of the London Amistad Orchestra, which has performed concerts at St. John’s Smith Square, at the Royal College of Music and in St Martin-in-the-Fields.
