May Fayre

  • 6 May 2011 — 7 May 2011

A May Fayre is being held in Regents Park to celebrate the end of the Spanish, Belgian and Hungarian EU Trio Presidency. A temporary music venue will host live music performances as well as circus workshops. Among the musical acts is an Austrian collaboration between hang drummer Manu Delago and double bassist Philipp M. Moll. Manu Delago has played the Hang, a Swiss hand-played percussion instrument, in more than twenty countries and on five continents. His London highlights include performances at The Roundhouse, Barbican, LSO St. Luke’s, Jazz Cafe and Southbank Centre. Austrian born Philipp M. Moll’s productions of the Killerfernandez debut ‘Feitaboogie’ and AJ Unity’s ‘Sweet Roses’ enjoyed rave reviews, interviews and live lounge sessions on BBC3 and BBC6. Philipp has toured worldwide and performed in various high profile venues such as The Royal Albert Hall.
