Fading movie stars Eleanor Parker (played by Lauren Ward) and Richard Haydn (played by Ian Gelder) start filming supporting roles in The Sound of Music. In the shadows of Julie Andrews, the two actors try to discover who the characters of the Baroness and Uncle Max really are: puppets in the world’s most famous musical, or figures in a much darker story of pre-war Austria?

Lauren Ward is a Tony Award nominee for her role of Miss Honey in the international hit Matilda, and has appeared frequently in the West End and on Broadway.

Ian Gelder is best known for his role as Kevan Lannister in Game of Thrones and his leading performances in many of the UK's major theatres.

Both recently played the Baroness and Uncle Max in the major West End production of The Sound of Music at the London Palladium and will be reunited for this event.
