Leo Records is a small independent company producing highly original, innovative, improvisation-based new music. For this tour Leo Records chose exciting new talents deserving wider recognition. They represent very different styles of music and different countries and demonstrate how improvisers from different countries and speaking different languages can create highly original, unforgettable, emotional music. Among the selected musicians is Austrian artist Katja Cruz who studied philosophy and art history and is a sculptor painter and light installationist as well as a highly acclaimed singer. Together with UK pianist Carolyn Hume she produces sensitive and deeply moving music.
