Acclaimed Austrian actress Maxi Blaha will perform her one-woman show Soul of Fire based on the life of Bertha von Suttner, author, journalist, activist and first female Nobel Peace Prize winner.

The performance will be followed by a lecture by Dr Daniel Laqua (Northumbria), a specialist in 19th and 20th-century history and European peace movements. Both events in English.
