Florian Kitt and Rita Medjimorec have been playing together for over 20 years. This visit to the UK takes them to the Universities of Southampton and Bristol where they will perform a programme containing works by Schumann, Liszt and Stravinsky as well as a new piece by the English composer Anthony Payne: ‘Out of the Depths Comes Song’, composed especially for the Duo in 2008. Payne is a renowned composer and musicologist, who only recently earned great acclaim for his completion of Edward Elgar’s Third Simphony.
