The ACF London continues its commitment to new music with a composition commission for Christopher Redgate and the oboe. Christopher has selected four new pieces for solo oboe by Austria-based composers from an open call. Christopher Redgate is currently the Evelyn Barbirolli Research Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music. He has specialised in the performance of contemporary music, and his work in this field has led many composers to write for him. He has recorded numerous solo CDs, broadcast on Radio Three, and performed extensively throughout the world.
