Recently awarded prizes at the prestigious ARD International Music Competition in Munich and the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition, the Austrian basted Chaos String Quartet is quickly establishing itself on the international music scene.
Now the musicians got invited to London to perform a Sunday Concert at the unique Conway Hall.
Their Conway Hall début programme spans some two centuries, including some early works by Mozart, one of the pillars of the chamber music canon, Schubert’s ‘Death and the Maiden’, and György Kurtág’s 1989 quartet, written in homage to fellow composer, Endre Szervánszky.
