A festival concert featuring award-winning young Viennese musician Adrian Gaspar, dynamic festival favourites Besh O Drom (Budapest), soulful sevdah singer Amira (Sarajevo), and SchliwoBeats DJ Ahilea (Vienna). Born in Romania but living in Vienna since an early age, pianist Adrian Gaspar’s talent was recognised as a young boy and he now leads several bands and has played at The Wiener Konzerthaus, Porgy & Bess and Joe Zawinul’s Birdland. With the Adrian Gaspar Group and DJ Ahilea, a small part of the vibrant Vienna Balkan music scene comes to East London’s Ocean venue, opposite the Hackney Empire.
