This talk is given by Martin Miller and Hannah Norbert-Miller from the IGRS and Research Fellow Peter Pirker (University of Vienna). Historian Peter Pirker will introduce and discuss interdisciplinary literary projects related to cases of service in and desertion from the Wehrmacht. Peter Pirker teaches at the Institut für Staatswissenschaften at the University of Vienna. His research focuses on the history of Austria and the Alps-Adriatic region, the history of European Resistance, Secret Services in WWII and in the Cold War and Austrian historiography.
