A special weekend festival programme within the magical Georgian townhouse of The House of St Barnabas.

Art Social returns this September for its second year with installations, performances, videos and a varied programme to be held instide The House of St Barnabas’s historic Greek Street townhoulse. This year’s festival has been curated around the theme of Maslow’s Pyramid of Needs, a theory that portrays human needs in a pyramid shape with physiological needs at the bottom and self-actualisation (self-expression through creativity) and self-esteem at the top. Each artist for Art Social ’15 has been asked to respond to an element of the pyramid, collaborating in a vibrant, colourful and participatory week of creativity. Among the selected artists is Austrian Marlene Haring who will peresent her performance 'Show Me Yours, I'll Show You Mine'.

The House of St Barnabas supports those affected by homelessness back into lasting paid work by offering integrated hospitality training and work experience in its social business; a not-for-profit private members’ club in Soho.
