Another Austria returns for a third year presenting 6 young emerging designers from Austria in the British Council’s International Fashion Showcase. This rich and enthralling presentation assumes an entirely new form - a conceptually driven exhibition themed around text and literature and its relationship to fashion and the arts. Set against a literary-themed backdrop, the exhibition is a meeting place for international writers to respond to Austria's rising fashion scene, offering a unique 'artist to artist' experience.

The exhibition, initiated by AUSTRIANFASHION.NET, in cooperation with the ACF London, and curated by Claudia Rosa Lukas, features work by six emerging fashion and accessory designers and international writers. The designs will be presented alongside specially commissioned texts which respond to the designs.

Another Austria is supported by The Arts Division and the Culture Division of the Federal Chancellery of Austria (BKA), departure – the Creative Center of the Vienna Business Agency and Advantage Austria, and will be covered by Indie Magazine.

An accompanying event at the ACF London entitled Another Austria: Narrative Threads will explore the relationship between fashion and literature with authors featured alongside designs which inspired them.
