Three Austrian brothers make up an ensemble whose performances (including concertos for its combination) have seen it garner success around the globe, among them a Golden Label Award from Klassiek Centraal for its interpretations of two works by Beethoven, including his celebrated 1814 trio. Mozart’s talented pupil Hummel is represented by the fifth of his seven works in the genre, composed in Vienna shortly after the première of the ‘Archduke.’
