writeAUT Literature Competition 2023

The motto of this year’s writeAUT literature competition for students from selected UK and Irish universities is “Geschichte mal anders, rewriting historical figures in different time periods”.
This year's theme is inspired by the 25th and 125th death anniversaries of two Austrian personalities: Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, also known by her nickname Sisi and Johann Hölzel, who managed to get to the top of the US charts under his stage name "Falco". Both had a lasting impact on their time and their legacy continues to strongly influence and fascinate.
But if these two people had lived in a completely different era? Just imagine Sisi learning a foreign language using artificial intelligence or Falco posting on his TikTok channel?
As preparation, interested people from participating universities can take part in an online writing workshop.
