Das Spiel is a psychological immersive theatre show, a mindreading experience blurring the lines between performance and reality.
Imagine being unsure if someone else has planned your greatest moments. You discover more only by playing.
This Game is different. As you play, it becomes larger than you. It reaches into your past and creates the present. It makes you comfortably uncomfortable.
The players are different every night and therefore The Game is different every night.

Written and performed by Philipp Oberlohr, theatre-maker, performer and illusionist. Developed with support from The Yard and Ovalhouse theatres, directors Margot Newkirk Grambow, Sarah Scharf, and James Blakey, dramaturg Eve Leigh, and producers Cristina Catalina and Miguel Romo.
Philipp studied Theology in Austria, and trained at the International School of Corporeal Mime in London. His work spans from one-to-one installations to performing to large audiences, and centers on creating experiences that are immersive, site-specific, intimate and interactive. He has toured to the Barbican Centre, Arcola Theatre, Last Tuesday Society, Yard Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith (at the All Change Fun Palace), and internationally to Austria, Serbia, Hungary and Germany, to critical acclaim: “the accuracy of his guesses: genuinely spooky!” (Time Out), “”Oberlohr completely wins me round”” (Exeunt), “”supernatural”” (Irish Times), “tremendous charisma” (Everything Theatre), “outstanding magic” (Female Arts).
