This is the UK premiere of award-winning Austrian author Peter Turrini’s first play, presented in an epic new venue. Fanshen Theatre Company use an innovative fusion of text and breathtaking movement to tell this gripping story. Evie and Ads are out on their first date. She wants to be wined and dined but he takes her to a rubbish dump. Surrounded by discarded fridges, old car parts and native rodents, the pair begin to discover things about each other which contradict their first impressions. But Evie and Ads know they don’t have long before they have to go home, where it feels like their lives have been mapped out before they’ve had the chance to live them. To challenge this would be hopeless…but tonight anything seems possible.
