Emerging artists from the Royal Academy of Music return to the ACF London to present "Gods of Love and War" - an evening of songs exploring Franz Schubert’s fascination with ancient mythology. In this programme, singers and pianists come together to reimagine dramatic tales from the lives and loves of classical gods. From the thunderbolts of Zeus to the trials of Hercules, from the mischief of Cupid to the allure of Aphrodite and the shadows of Hades - this is a celebration of Schubert’s music and his vivid portraits of mythic passion, power and fate.
