Planted, the world’s first contemporary design show aimed at reconnecting people and spaces with nature, will launch its flagship physical event at King’s Cross during the London Design Festival.

Planted is the world’s first zero-waste design event and will bring together a hand-picked selection of leading sustainable design brands including London-based Austrian design duo HagenHinderdael

The award-winning creative practice founded by Sophia Hagen and Lisa Hinderdael pair product design with art and pursue a design approach that explores the relationship of lighting and large scale installations in immersive environments.

Based on the principles of biophilic design and in direct response to the global climate emergency, Planted will explore how design, sustainability, food production, architecture and nature can combine to create cleaner, greener, healthier spaces.

From 23 – 26 September, Planted will feature inspiring nature-based installations, leading sustainable furniture & lighting brands, specialist plant nurseries, plant-based food & beauty products, innovative sustainable design solutions and a forward-thinking environmental talks programme.
