For the Kafka anniversary year 2024, the Goethe-Institut, in cooperation with the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK, the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Czech Centre and Literaturhaus Stuttgart present the exhibition Komplett Kafka at Europe House.
The exhibition is based on the comic biography Komplett Kafka by Nicolas Mahler and the exhibition concept of the Literaturhaus Stuttgart.
Franz Kafka not only wrote prose, he was also passionate about drawing. His drawing once gave him ‘more satisfaction than anything else’. So what could be more fitting than to honour him with a comic biography to mark his anniversary? Especially one by Nicolas Mahler, who has a similarly minimalist drawing style? Mahler presents Kafka's life and works in an inimitably witty and pointed manner. (suhrkamp.de)
