ArtEN Annual Exhibition 2026: Degrees of Contact

  • 4 Jun 2026 — 24 Jun 2026

Private View: Wednesday 3 June, 5 – 8PM
Curated by Rodrigo Chaveiro

The ArtEN Annual Exhibition is a cultural event presenting exceptional international artists working in the UK today.

The 2026 iteration, Degrees of Contact, brings fifteen distinct practitioners into a shared space. This year, the focus is on contact, observing how these practices translate specific cultural origins and mythological frameworks, into a shared contemporary visual language, moving through works driven by physical compounds and architectural memory, to those navigating frictions in complex geographies.

Two UK-based Austrian artists will be presented in this group exhibition. Euphrosyne Andrews works across sculpture, public artwork and print. Recent awards include the Henry Moore Artist Fund and The Gilbert Bayes award, resulting in a year of mentorship from the Royal Society of Sculptors. Filip Lav’s artistic practice intertwines evocative elements of 19th-century romanticism with the fragmented geometry of modernist abstraction. His paintings juxtapose the symbolic legacy of romanticism with the cubist language of minimal abstraction. Lav holds an MFA from Columbia University, New York (2016), and a BFA from the Ruskin School of Fine Art, University of Oxford (2012).
