London Film-Makers‘ Co-operative: Notes from the Underground

  • Tue 19 Jul 2016

2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the London Film-Makers’ Co-operative (LFMC), the ground-breaking organisation that inaugurated a tradition for the production, distribution, and exhibition of artists’ moving image in the UK, influencing and anticipating the vibrant contemporary culture of the present

The celebration of the LFMC continues with an evening of screenings including the experimental short film “37/78 TREE AGAIN” from the Austrian filmmaker Kurt Kren from 1978 about a tree in colourful tempests of pictures.

The film will be screened on Tuesday, 19 July 2016 in the series HELLO, LOOK AT THAT PICTURE… DO YOU SEE ME NOW? starting at 20:45 at the BFI Southbank.
