This unusual film documents director Fritz Ofner’s road trip through Libya during the last weeks of the revolution against Muammar al-Gaddafi’s regime. Without losing itself in facts and statements, the film focuses on the realities of life during an armed revolution, which usually – even in a country in the focus of media reporting – remain completely hidden. Ofner’s aim was to capture the collective mood and to present a place in one particularly historic moment in time.
The director will be present at the screening.
